Discover Casa Paché

If you're in Puerto de la Cruz, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and looking for a memorable dining experience, Casa Paché should be at the top of your list. Nestled at C. de la Verdad, 6, this cozy yet vibrant restaurant has become a beloved spot for both locals and tourists alike. Whether you're here for a casual lunch or a romantic evening out, Casa Paché delivers a delightful taste of Canarian cuisine with a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Walking into Casa Paché, you immediately feel the charm of its rustic yet contemporary decor. The combination of exposed stone walls, wooden beams, and large windows that let in the natural light creates a laid-back yet elegant vibe. The space is comfortable and welcoming, making it perfect for family gatherings, dinner dates, or a solo meal.

The restaurant prides itself on offering a diverse menu that showcases the very best of the Canary Islands’ rich culinary traditions. From fresh seafood to savory stews, Casa Paché brings you an array of flavors that reflect the unique history and culture of Tenerife. The ingredients are locally sourced, and the dishes are prepared with care and attention to detail, ensuring that every bite is a true representation of the island’s culinary heritage.

For starters, the restaurant’s selection of tapas is a must-try. The papas arrugadas, a classic Canarian dish of wrinkled potatoes served with mojo sauce, is an absolute favorite. The potatoes are cooked to perfection, and the vibrant red and green mojos complement the dish beautifully. Another standout is the grilled octopus, which is tender and full of flavor, paired with a delicate drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt. These small plates are perfect for sharing, allowing you to explore a variety of tastes in one meal.

When it comes to mains, Casa Paché offers a range of options that cater to all tastes. If you’re a seafood lover, the fish of the day, often a fresh catch from local waters, is a fantastic choice. Prepared simply with herbs and olive oil, the fish is both light and flavorful, allowing the freshness of the ingredients to shine through. For those who prefer meat dishes, the tender slow-cooked lamb shank, seasoned with aromatic spices, is a hearty and satisfying option that pairs wonderfully with a glass of red wine from the Canary Islands.

Of course, no meal at Casa Paché would be complete without dessert. The house-made flan, creamy and perfectly balanced in sweetness, is a crowd favorite. For something a bit more indulgent, the chocolate mousse with a hint of orange zest is rich and velvety, offering a perfect end to a delicious meal.

The service at Casa Paché is another highlight. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to offer recommendations based on your preferences. They are knowledgeable about the menu and can help guide you through the selection of wines, which are carefully curated to complement the dishes. Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or just looking for a refreshing drink, the restaurant’s wine list will not disappoint.

As for the location, it’s easy to find and perfectly situated in Puerto de la Cruz, making it a convenient stop after a day of sightseeing. Whether you're strolling through the town’s charming streets or enjoying the coastal views, Casa Paché provides a peaceful retreat where you can enjoy a relaxing meal in a beautiful setting.

The combination of excellent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes Casa Paché a standout in Puerto de la Cruz. If you’re ever in the area, be sure to pay a visit. • You are advised to book to get a seat at Casa Paché and it’s easy to see why. It’s a gem!! Located in one of the town’s prettiest streets, one you could easily walk past, this is the equivalent of eating a top menu in someone’s house. Service is helpful bright and enthusiastic. They have menus in multiple languages, a menu which is simple to navigate. We sat inside although most will want to sit out. It is spacious, bright, lovely (in some cases quirky) decor. The food is super. I had the Goat (cabra) and it is the best meal I’ve had on the island. My wife had fish and squid which was great. The portions were filling without being stupid!!! It’s a must visit for an authentic Canarian meal in an idyllic setting which seems off the beaten track but is in the heart of the town. Gracias Casa Paché

  • Intimate little restaurant with a cosy terrace on a beautiful alley. We had the grilled goat cheese with mojo sauce, beef in sauce with Canarian potatoes, local Dorada beer and roasted banana for dessert, and all of them were very good. Service was prompt and friendly, we had a very nice dinner here!

  • What a place! A charming little paseo with two small restaurants, and the one we chose was absolutely fantastic. We were served by a lovely lady who was both friendly and incredibly efficient. There are only a few tables outside, but inside you’ll find several small, cozy dining rooms full of character. The menu is short — and that’s a big plus. Every dish is traditionally Canarian, and I highly recommend trying the rabbit. Honestly, everything we ordered was amazing. The wine was excellent too. We’ll definitely be back! I suggest making a reservation, as it’s a small but very popular spot.

  • Typical Canarian dishes all gluten-free. They are mostly gluten-free already, here they just make sure there's no cross contamination which makes this place heaven for celiacs. The food is really good and it is great to be able to try all these dishes without any worries. It's just a pity they don't have many vegetarian or vegan dishes. This makes it hard to combine with other people's diets. The waiters are also very lovely and caring. I totally recommend this place to everyone

  • A small busy restaurant that serves local food. A must try if you want to experience Canarian food. We had goat (unique to the island) and it was absolutely delicious. Super friendly staff.

  • Loved the food here. Everything is gluten free so it was great to be able to eat without worrying about cross contamination. The portions are huge and prices are low. Recommend grilled cheese, chickpeas and huevos. Would like to come back sometime

  • Great restaurant in a little quiet alley. All kinds of authentic Canarian food options. For starters we had the huevos a la estampida which was amazing. Had the rabbit and the chicken wings for mains which were both very good. Would definitely recommend!

  • One of the best places to eat dinner in the city. Prices are moderate, but it's very tasty here. Place is offering local canary cuisine. It's pretty simple, but very-very tasty. I enjoyed meat, potatoes and in particular home white one. One of the best dinners in my life. I'll definitely visit the place once again.
